SOLARHUB SECURES EXCLUSIVE NAMING RIGHTS SPONSORSHIP WITH NETBALL ACT FOR AN ADDITIONAL 3 YEARS
21st September 2018
SolarHub, a leader in the solar energy industry, have signed on for another 3 years of naming rights sponsorship with Netball ACT. The sponsorship is the result of a successful initial 3 years between the two companies which saw the centre being renamed as the SolarHub ACT Netball Centre in 2015, and 50kW of panels installed on the centre’s roof.
This solar installation has aided Netball ACT to reduce their energy consumption by 38 percent, saving a projected average of $400,000 over 25 years.
Benn Masters, SolarHub CEO said: “The installation on the SolarHub ACT Netball Centre not only allows Netball ACT to reduce their running costs, but also showcases the businesses’ commitment to social responsibility. These values align with SolarHub’s commitment to supporting the local community and have been the foundation of the partnership. “
“SolarHub have enjoyed working with Netball ACT immensely over the past three years and are excited to continue this relationship for an additional three.”
The SolarHub ACT Netball Centre is an integral part of the community and hosts social competitions, Canberra GIANTS games, academy programs, junior development programs and more.
Benita Bittner, Netball ACT General Manager said “Netball ACT are excited to renew our partnership with SolarHub for the next three years. To have a major sponsor who demonstrates a strong commitment to social responsibility and fostering a sense of community is very important to us as a sport and our membership.”
“Netball is what we show up for, community is what we leave behind, and we are very much looking forward to growing this partnership over the coming years”
The sponsorship will see SolarHub continue to play an active role in Netball ACT events and work together on collaborative projects aimed at benefiting the local community.
